It’s taken me awhile to hop on the mustard yellow trend… mostly because I wasn’t really sure how to style a mustard dress. But I decided to add a mustard dress to my summer wardrobe and it’s been one of my most-complimented outfits this season! Here’s how I style a mustard dress…

This crochet mustard dress is from PinkBlush, one of my favorite online boutiques.

The color is a bit outside of my comfort zone, but I think it’s a fun addition to my summer wardrobe. As you know if you’ve followed me for awhile, I usually stick to a lot of black and white pieces.
But these fun details won me over. Crochet is a perfect summer detail, and this dress nails it. Here are some other fun crochet and lace dresses for summer.
The biggest obstacle for me was figuring out how to style a mustard dress. After standing in my closet for awhile, I decided on these nude wedges. I’ve had them for 3 years now and wear them very frequently during the summers, as I love how nudge wedges elongate your legs. I’m only about 5 feet tall, so I need all the help I can get.
At only $17, I’d say these wedges are well worth the price. I just saw that they’re available in black and beige, too. I’m thinking I might get the black pair, since I wear black so often. I love a good neutral!
If you’re not into nude shoes, I’d also suggest navy shoes with a mustard dress. These navy wedges would look fabulous with a casual mustard dress like this one.
Mustard + navy pair very well together, so I decided to add some navy into my outfit through this fun bracelet. It’s the La Paz from Victoria Emerson, and I can’t get enough of the cute tassels. You can use Victoria Emerson promo code COVETBYTRICIA to save 30% on any purchase from their site!
Yellow means sunshine, and sunshine means summer, and summer means…
Ice cream. Duh. I love ice cream more than any grown woman probably should… just check my Insta bio.
And that’s how to style a mustard dress! I hope this helped you figure out what to wear with a mustard dress. Any questions, feel free to ask in the comments!
