Bodysuit with denim shorts is one of my go-to looks this summer. Pairing your shorts with a bodysuit instead of the usual t-shirt takes things up a notch, especially when the bodysuit is as cute as this one. Read on for one of my favorite ruffle sleeve bodysuit outfit ideas!

When I first saw this ruffle sleeve bodysuit, I knew it belonged in my closet. The only problem is that it’s hard to find in stock. Although it’s also available in blue, I really wanted the white because one of my ruffle sleeve bodysuit outfit ideas was to wear this bodysuit with denim shorts.
Buttttt…. I’m not a fan of wearing blue shirts or bodysuits when I’m wearing denim on the bottom, because I feel like everything blends together. Same for denim-on-denim looks. Sounds silly but just my personal preference.
So, I stalked and stalked the website until the white finally came back in stock in my size. Well worth the wait to be able to put together one of my favorite ruffle sleeve bodysuit outfit ideas!
This is the BP Ruffle Sleeve Bodysuit from Nordstrom. Initially, I thought the ruffle sleeves on this bodysuit were going to be more of a soft, flowy material. However, they’re actually more of a sturdier, more structured material. I actually like that more because they hold their shape better instead of just laying flat on the shoulders.

These platform sandals have been in my closet for 3 summers now. They come in 3 colors, and I chose the tan because they help elongate my pathetically-short legs. For having such a high platform, these sandals are suprisingly comfortable.

By the way, I do not have that cleavage naturally at all. After breastfeeding 2 babies, there’s not much left here. This bra is my go-to when I need to push the girls together. [Sorry if that’s TMI. We’re all friends here, right?]
Keeping it short[-ish… I’m always long-winded!] and sweet since today is my husband’s birthday! I want to hop off the computer and enjoy some family time.
Weekends are always a tough balance as a stay-at-home mom/work-at-home mom/blogger/whatever I am. My husband is home so I want to catch up on blogging that falls by the wayside while I’m hanging with the kiddos during the week, but I also want to spend time with my husband and don’t want to hole up in the office all weekend. I love blogging and sharing with you all, so it’s worth the effort to strike the balance. But I’m open to hearing advice from other moms out there on how you balance it all!
Next week will be Colton’s first day of preschool, so things will be a lot quieter around here during the mornings. I know he’ll enjoy it, but I can’t help being a little sad that my big boy is, well, big. I’ll be sure to wear waterproof mascara on that first day!
