I spent most of the weekend editing photos from Blair and I’s Tennessee trip. We made so many fun memories and I’m so glad we got to take our girls trip! After hanging out at the Grand Opening event, we drove a couple hours south to spend a day in Memphis. Our hotel was AMAZING, so I want to share our Hu Hotel Memphis reviews for those of you looking for the best hotels in Memphis!

This was our first time in the city, so I wasn’t sure where to start finding good hotels in Memphis. I came across Hu Hotel after some Internet research and thought the convenient location + modern vibe would be perfect for us.
We were not disappointed! Hu Hotel is super modern–in fact, you check in at the bar pictured above, and you can get a coffee or cocktail prepared right away.
Blair and I arrived in town around 1:00. The Hu staff was very accommodating about allowing us to check in early. I chose to valet my car, and the valet brought all of our luggage upstairs as well. A huge help when traveling with a little one!
Blair was excited to explore our Hu Hotel room!
We actually had a suite, and these doors separated the living area from the bedroom. A perfect setup if you’re traveling with multiple people, in case someone wants to go to bed earlier.
Bedroom was gorgeous and ultra-modern. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of outlets to charge our devices.
And a full-length mirror, perfect for those outfit selfies! Outfit details linked here.
Bathroom design on point.
There was also a tub, which you can slightly see in the mirror reflection above. I loved the crisp white tile and marble vanity top. And there were plenty of towels! I hate when hotels are skimpy on towels.
The toiletries smelled fantastic! Hu Hotel’s attention to detail with the little things–like toiletries–was top notch. I loved this brand so much I am thinking of buying some myself to use at home! You can find them here.
[I always get asked about these bracelets so I’ll add links–I’m wearing this cuff and this wrap here!]
The living area was beautifully-appointed as well. The modern decor actually reminded me a lot of my own living room.
There was a desk and mini bar right as you walked in the room.
Love the detailing on that bar cabinet! Wish I could’ve brought it home with me.
Catching up on her correspondence.
The city view from our Hu Hotel room were fantastic, and we could even see the Mississippi River from the bedroom.
It was Blair’s idea to crawl up into the windows and take pictures. She is a little explorer and such a good traveler, seriously. I wrote a post awhile back about how to make travel with a baby easier, but I’m going to do an updated post about road tripping with a toddler.
We heard the views were even better on the Hu Roof, so we rode up to check it out at sunset.
Seeing the bridge lit up was so beautiful. The Hu Roof has some of the best views in Memphis!
Asked a kind stranger to take our photo on the Hu Roof because the view was so incredible!
[Linking our outfit details here. My dress is perfect for travel–doesn’t wrinkle, comfortable, and you still look put together!]
Hu Hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Memphis. It’s right on the corner of Main St., so it’s easy to walk or take the trolley wherever you want to go. Lots of restaurant options nearby, including the Hu Diner in the hotel itself.
Overall, our Hu Hotel reviews are very positive! The staff was friendly and accommodating, location was great, and the attention to detail was amazing.
