For a casual summer outfit, you can’t go wrong with ripped denim shorts. This pair has been my go-to this summer. They run TTS and are just under $17! Free shipping for Amazon Prime members. Yes, the reviews are mixed, but I personally love them.
A cute pair of sunnies is the perfect summer fashion statement. This pink pair of sunglasses is an investment price [for me, anyway], but I think they’re worth it. I get lots of compliments on them, and you can’t put a price on that. Ha!

I’ve featured this black tie-front blouse in another post, where I styled it with white denim. That’s one of my favorite parts of fashion blogging: showcasing different ways to re-wear an item in a new outfit. Most of us don’t have unlimited clothing budgets, so it’s nice to find pieces that will work in multiple outfits.
Blair is particularly obsessed with this piece. She loves most of my jewelry, and also shoes. Something tells me having a daughter is going to be very expensive.
