The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is unlike a lot of other sales because it features next season’s merchandise at a steep discount. A lot of the items are brand-new releases! The sale features items from all categories: fashion [obvs], beauty, shoes, home decor, kids, and more.
When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
If you’re wondering “when does the Nordstrom anniversary sale start?”, here’s your answer:
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to Nordstrom cardholders on July 12, 2018. This is the “Early Access” portion of the sale, and the big reason why I have a Nordstrom card. [Sign up for one today so you don’t miss out on Early Access!]
If you don’t want to sign up for a Nordstrom card, you can shop the sale from July 20 – August 5, 2018.
What are the best shopping tips for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
My number one tip is to get a Nordstrom card so you can get in on Early Access. A lot of items sell out [some even on the first day of the sale!], so non-cardholders may miss out on that special something. Once you’re a cardholder, you can select the day you shop the sale as your Personal Triple Points Day and earn those Nordstrom Notes [gift cards] even faster.
Another tip: buy online and pick up in store or even curbside! With 2 kids, I love the curbside pick-up option. I get my items right away, without having to drag 2 kids through the mall. Win-win. Nordstrom also offers free shipping, for those of you who are more patient than myself.

Guys. My Number One Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 Pick: These Hunter boots. I’ve been obsessing since I first saw them. These will be my birthday gift this year [thanks, honey!]. Anniversary Sale price $114.90, after sale $175.
Also crushing on these open-side booties. The open side will elongate your legs, and when you’re as short as me, that’s a huge plus. Anniversary Sale price $79.90, after sale $119.95.
