Like most of you, we’ve been spending more time than ever at home. The upside is that we have time to perfect some of our favorite grilling recipes! Over the long weekend, my husband made the BEST ranch burgers for the grill! I’m so excited to share the recipe with you.

I picked up everything we needed for our little cookout from Walmart. Their grocery pickup is super easy to use, and completely contactless. I ordered online and checked in upon arrival through the Walmart app on my phone. From there, I stayed in my car and popped my trunk when the associate approached, and he loaded everything into my trunk. Highly recommend!
Hidden Valley Ranch is one of our BBQ must-haves. I was really excited to see this ready-to-eat Hidden Valley dip while making my online order, so I added it to cart along with a few items to create a little party tray.

If you’re wondering what to serve with ranch dip, all of these choices went over well with my family. We had baby carrots, broccoli, potato chips, and pretzel sticks.
If you wanted to dress up your party tray a bit more, you could easily spoon the dip out into a decorative container.
Even our dishes came from Walmart! My kids love the divided design. They always get excited to see what I’m going to put in each of the little spots.
Anyway, on to the recipe! Here’s what you’ll need to make the 4 of best ranch burgers for the grill:
- 1 lb. ground beef (we used Walmart Marketside Organic beef)
- Hidden Valley Ranch (to taste)
- 4 slices mild cheddar cheese
- 4 pieces bacon
- 1 Tbsp. burger seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- Hamburger buns (we used Sam’s Choice Sweet Hawaiian buns)
Putting Hidden Valley Ranch on our burgers really took the flavor to a new level! (By the way, it’s gluten free for those of you following a celiac diet.)
To make crispy bacon for burgers, I actually cook it in the microwave! I put a couple paper towels on a plate, then lay out the bacon (making sure no pieces of bacon touch each other), then another paper towel on top. Cook on high for 1 minute per piece of bacon + 1 additional minute–so if I had 5 pieces of bacon, I’d cook them for 6 minutes on high. Crispy bacon every time, and the paper towels help absorb the grease!

- 1 lb. ground beef
- Hidden Valley Ranch to taste
- 4 slices mild cheddar cheese
- 4 pieces bacon
- 1 Tbsp. burger seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 4 Hamburger buns

Mix the burger seasoning and worcestshire sauce with the ground beef. Form into 4 patties.

Place the patties on a grill at a medium-high to high temperature.

Meanwhile, cook bacon with your preferred method. (I do it in the microwave as described in the full blog post.)

When burgers have reached a minimum temp of 160°F, place a slice of mild cheddar cheese on top and allow to slightly melt on the grill.

Remove burgers from grill and place on bun. Top with Hidden Valley Ranch to taste and a piece of bacon.
