My son is always hungry. He loves to snack throughout the day. Who doesn’t? We are out and about most days, so I’m always on the lookout for portable, toddler-friendly snacks. I first discovered toddler snack mix at one of Colton’s friend’s birthday parties. He (and all the other kids!) gobbled it up. I’ve been making it regularly ever since. This is Colton and I’s favorite “recipe” for toddler snack mix.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
To celebrate, Colton and I baked (and ate!) some fun heart-shaped Valentine’s cookies. He enjoyed the baking process, but definitely enjoyed the eating part more! He’s at an age now where he really likes helping in the kitchen. His favorite kitchen tasks are cracking eggs and stirring (which he calls “stir stir stir!”). That’s probably why his favorite breakfast is scrambled eggs. Luckily for him, there was lots of stirring involved in the cookie making process.

We gave out these sweet DIY s’mores party favors at Colton’s Little Lumberjack birthday party. They were one of my favorite party details…and Colton’s too! He loved helping me assemble them.
